Oh my dear and fuzzy lord, she's eating it up!

Wonderful madness as usual, sir!

It's more a metaphor. But there will be a bunch of old elephants, a plethora of clowns, and one caged maneater...

Even though you're an evil Canadian, you've probably heard of Calvin and Hobbes... Calvin's wild flights of fancy (and also Snoopy's aerial combat sequences) are probably my inspiration for crazy stuff like the middle two panels.

Thanks for commenting. I could see how this may be perceived as a "fourth wall break". However, it is not--Tona's talking to her attorney the whole time, and neither are acknowledging their fictional nature.

Because, as we all know, The Walking Dead is the (current reigning) Greatest Show on Earth, not this work.

I think that it actually works well on both levels. I get that Tona's attorney is behind her having gotten out of the car, and she's directly addressing him but hey, a knowing nod to the the meta possibilities here is no bad thing.
Not sure that Walking Dead is the current ruler, I lost interest a while back- both on telly and in the books. Not sure what I'd vote for though. Anyway, pleased to say that the strip is maintaining the fun!

The Walking Dead is just the Dirty South writ large, and if y'all haven't spent much time there, then I could see how all the apocalypse and firearms and patriarchy might not be so fascinating.

Thanks for the compliment--I liked your Santa sequence in Joan Conrad!

I'm normally not a fan of super tall pages, but damn do you know what to do with 'em. Just brilliant.

Like I said to Prof E in a PM:

Format can either be a constraining straightjacket or a sexy corset. My naked ass might decide not to wear anything, but done well, I DO NOT have a problem with anyone's decision to format for printing.

You, in particular, should absolutely be formatting for printing.

She always did love to make a circus of things, didn't she?

(Point of possible interest, "things" was almost "thongs" before I caught it.)

Throughout history, every time there's been a rushed gathering with someone screeching "kill them! KILL them!" Tona's been there.

Political rally, circus tent, lynch mob... these are her spiritual homeland.

Something something Ann Coulter.
